A warm welcome to Minadab Cottage bed and breakfast situated in the picturesque town of Teignmouth. Teignmouth, aptly described as the Jewel of Devon, is a characterful seaside town and one of few that still has its traditional Victorian pier. The pedestrianised, level town centre has an interesting variety of shops, restaurants and patisseries. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade and admire the well-maintained Victorian facades. Follow the promenade to the east, from which the distinctive iron-oxide rich red rocks rise up to form the steep cliffs, and you will be walking alongside the route of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Atmospheric railway. The quaint and cosy village of Shaldon lies to the west and can be reached either via the bridge or via the historic Teign pedestrian ferry. Minadab Cottage is a charming bed and breakfast with colourful gardens and plenty of parking. Once inside, the character and warmth of this historic home encourages you to relax and enjoy your stay. We take great pride in providing a high quality, delicious traditional English breakfast using local ingredients and we support our local producers and suppliers as much as possible. Homemade marmalade and a delicious variety of homemade jams, made with locally picked fruits, are also available. Please let us know, at the time of booking, if you have any specific dietary requirements and we will do our best to cater for your needs. Whatever the length of your visit, we hope you enjoy your stay and we aim to do everything possible to make sure you do. Whilst open for most of the year, availability can be limited at certain times and booking is recommended especially during the summer season.
